Ages: 8-16 years old
Tuition: Cost: Tuition per camper for each session will be $200.00. Individual day rates are available at $50.00 per child.Tuition includes all camp activities, crafts, and a camp T-shirt.
Facilities: Sundance Riding Stables is located on just over 200 acres of beautiful trails. Sundance is home to the Midwest’s LARGERST indoor riding arena, as well as two large outdoor arenas.
Location: The camp will be held at Sundance Riding Stables, 9350 Nixon Road, Grand Ledge, Mi 48837.
Capacity: We are having no more than 12 campers per session.
Food: Meals are not included, so please send a sack lunch with your camper each day. Beverages and snacks are available for a fee.
Before and after camp programs are available for an additional fee of $15 per program. Arrangements must be made at registration for this program.

What do campers do at camp?
Campers will rotate through different learning centers, horse feeding, saddling horses (putting equipment on horse), washing & grooming, identifying the parts of a horse, colors of a horse, saddle, bridle, in addition to a daily riding lessons. Arts and crafs, along with learning to care for horses and the other farm animals.

Monday thru Thursday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
(Advanced campers) Must have attended at least two horse camps to attend this session.
Events: At Sundance Riding Stables Summer Camp we will be encouraging our campers to gain new skills, try new experiences, and enjoy the experience of working and having fun with horses.
Horses: Sundance has over 75 stable horses that will be available to our camp for our camp experience. Our staff will work with our campers to insure that their camp horse meets their riding experience needs. We have horses for the novice rider as well as for the more experienced riders. If a camper has their own horse they may arrange with Sundance Ridging Stables to bring their own horse to camp.
Staff: All of our staff members have owned, loved, and been around horses for many years. Our Staff counselors will be a mix of adults and teens, all with horsemanship experience.
Riding Instruction: All riding will be done western style. We will spend an equal amount of time on both the trails and in the corrals learning new skills. Each camper will leave
camp with the knowledge of how to saddle and care for a horse.
Attire: All campers must wear a helmet. They may bring their own or borrow one of ours. We also request that our campers wear jeans and a sturdy boot or shoe with a heel. No Sandals please! Campers may be outside part of the day. Please send sunscreen.
